標題:Bifurcation analysis of network-based epidemic models with saturated treatment function

摘要:In this talk, we present a study on two network-based epidemic models with a saturated treatment function to characterize the saturation phenomenon of limited medical resources. We find that by incorporating the saturated treatment function into our models, some interesting phase transition, which does not appear in the epidemic model with a linear treatment function, is observed. More precisely, our models display a complex bifurcation behavior at transition and the bifurcation can be forward or backward, whereas there is only a simple phase transition from disease-free equilibrium to endemic equilibrium in epidemic models with linear treatment function. Numerical simulations are conducted to illustrate our findings.
