Theme:Existence and Instability of Traveling Pulses of Generalized Keller-Segel Equations
Time:11/14(Tuesday)PM 13:30
Venue:GEN III Room 837
Abstract:Keller-Segel (KS) Equations exhibit the phenomenon of chemotaxis. It is difficult to find the traveling pulse solutions for the minimal model. In this talk, we talk about the existence and instability of some KS equations with nonlinear chemical gradients and small diffusions by the geometric singular perturbation theory and spectral analysis. This is a joint work with John. M. Hong, Y. S. Chen and B. C. Huang.
